HealthPass Digital Platform
GHANA
Project overview
HealthPass is a proposed digital healthcare platform focused on patient record access and medical data management. Through this project direction, Agora Techne members can explore user research, application architecture, and responsible prototyping while connecting classroom knowledge with a challenge for community learning.
The challenge
Useful healthcare tools must reflect the needs of patients and professionals. Fragmented information, unclear workflows, and records create design challenges. Our starting point is to understand these constraints, question assumptions, and define a manageable prototype that supports learning without claiming clinical readiness.
Our approach
Teams can begin with stakeholder questions, map simple user journeys, and develop prototypes using synthetic data. Peer reviews can explore interface clarity, access controls, and technical tradeoffs. Documenting each decision helps members understand the architecture, invite feedback, and identify what further expertise would be needed before real-world use.
Learning Goals
This initiative is presented as a project direction, with progress to be documented as work develops. Members can build experience in research, prototyping, collaboration, and responsible data handling. Future updates should distinguish findings from assumptions and describe limitations clearly so others can learn from the work and contribute.
